5/20/2010-**Note to Attendees who took the PALS Renewal Class***. The Renewal Cards have been ordered throught the PALS Training Center and are expected by the end of May.  Your cards will be mailed directly to you. 5/20/2010-Friday 5/21 will be the last day to complete the survey/evaluation for the 2010 Michigan EMS EXPO. Thanks to all who have taken a few minutes to complete the survey.  Your thoughts, concerns, and comments are helpful  to planning the 2011.  To all who were in "cold" rooms, that has been addressed with the DeVos Place and will be monitored more closely in 2011. 5/10/10-Alot of you have asked for more EMT/Nursing Dual Contact Hours and would like to see them listed in the brochure.  At the time the brochure is being produced the nursing contact hours have not been approved, however, in the brochure we do list "Nurshing Contact Hours Applied For" on each class that could possibly be approved for nursing contact hours. Once the application goes to the Nurses Approval Commitee we have to wait. We are working on getting the approvals eaerlier for 2011. -jl 5/5/2010- I would like to answer a few questions and comments made regarding the 2010 EXPO.  The biggest concern for everyone is retreiving and printing your CEU summary on line. Please read the instructions at the top of this page and you will be able to get them.   Unfortunately the FDIC conference was held the same week as EXPO.  Hotel and Conference sites are contracted 5 years out so it was not possible to change either dates. 2011 the FDIC is in March so there will not be a conflict.     I know some people had a problem finding parking and local restaurants. Please take some time to look at our web site. There are links to downtown parking, with prices, and to restaurants and stores within walking distantance to the DeVos Place. jl
